It’s comfy and good quality

Have this on our bed permanently it gets washed and put straight on. It’s always our first choice but it is starting to wear at corners. However this is not with light use- 2 very active sleepers, a toddler and a 6 year old constantly testing it.

It's a nice duvet but the threading is not good at all it loose at every end.

Like the look of this bedding and after a 20degee wash and tumble dry put it on the bed yesterday and thought the cotton felt a bit rough compared to my other cotton sheets. Could this be the design or different type of material ?. Will not be returning as i can use it on the spare bed

Haven't put it on the bed yet but it's washed and ironed ok . Lovely colour and the material feels nice. We've gone for the Scandinavian sleep method and it's the best wish we had done it years ago.

Lovely and soft cotton and good alternative to linen which I find a tad extravagant.

Firstly, this is a very attractive set and comes with the duvet cover and two pillowcases. It's reversible so depending on your style, you can change it to suit that. It's also very neutral so it would be hard pressed not to fit most devora (this is if course in the gray and white I got it in). It's also very comfy to sleep in with the cotton being apparent.However... There are a couple of issues straight from the off. I washed it before use, at 30 degrees on a eco/quick wash and to be honest, I didn't fully inspect it beforehand so I can't say if it came like this, but after putting the set on, there was a loose thread on the pillowcase that I gave a tiny little pull of and it came straight untangled. This happened with three buttons on one of the pillowcases immediately and when I went to change and wash the sheets after a week, the other buttons came off the other pillow cases. It's only had one wash... I know wear and tear are likely to make things less durable but didn't expect this after just one wash.Another thing that I found a little disappointing was that it doesn't have corners to tuck the duvet covers in, so the actual duvet tends to stick out from the button holes. The buttons are also a big to go into the holes easily, but I imagine this will lessen with more use. We'll still use the set without the buttons on the pillowcases but I personally think that there's a better quality available for the price.

Very good quality material used and well made, doesn’t feel to rough but has lovely colour and a really good design. Perfect for the room and it fit really well to my duvet.

This is a 100% cotton double duvet set including a duvet cover and 2 pillow cases.This arrives in a sealed packet. Out the bag and it is a little crisp so always a good idea to wash it first. It washes easily in a washing with no colour run.This is easy to fit on a standard double duvet. I really like button closure like this as they last much longer than pops.On the bed the material is soft and fresh and very comfortable. It also looks smart and high quality to. This cotton double duvet cover is lovely. It is a nice muted brown colour with white stripes and looks just like the picture. It comes with a double duvet cover and two pillowcases. The set is also wrapped in a bow (see picture) which could make it a nice gift. The colour looks really nice as it’s quite neutral so can go well in a lot of bedrooms. I wouldn’t say it’s overly soft as it’s just a cotton feel but I don’t mind that - it is clearly described as 100% cotton.

I’m really very happy with this duvet cover set.The cotton feels soft and breathable, and it’s comfortable to sleep under. Seems to keep warm without being at all sweaty. The cream striped design looks elegant and matches my bedroom splendidly. Its nothing too brash or bold, so would fit most peoples colour schemes to be fair.The button closures are sturdy, and the pillowcases fit standard pillows well. It washes easily and hasn’t lost its shape or colour after a few washes. Overall, great quality for the price - I’d definitely recommend it!

I ordered this for our bed however I hadn't noticed that it had a stripe until it arrived so we now use this set for our spare bed that's used when family stop over.On opening, this has a pretty soft feel to it, we haven't washed it yet but I don't see an issue if done at a reasonable temperature. For a 100% cotton fabric this has more of a stretch to it than I would have expected but the fabric is thinner than other cotton bedding that I use although this is reflected in the price.Looking at the design, it tends to remind me of a batchalor type bedding or maybe for an older man, this is just my interpretation and is likely just of my older generation whereas maybe this design is now once again in trend.Overall, this bedding set comes very nicely presented and has a reasonably soft feel to it. For us it is ideal for our spare bedroom but not for our own bed due to the Batchelor type stripe and colouring. That said, this three piece bedding set is being sold at a very reasonable price for a cotton set so it will suit many different people.

This bed sheet set is really nice, pardon the messiness of them I had just washed them and hadn’t had time to iron them. there is subtle pinstripe pattern on the sheets and pillow cases. I really like the colour too, it goes well the with bed frame colour and walls. The sheet has large buttons at the bottom to close it up, but once it’s on you don’t notice them at all. When it comes to the fabric it’s nice and soft, seems very well put together, and fits perfectly. Same with the pillow cases. All in it’s a great wee set of bed clothes, and so far I have not noticed any flaws or problems with the item.

This is a well made and finished set, in good quality linen-like cotton that seems likely to prove durable. It’s quite coarse cotton, comfortable enough but not what we’d call fine or luxurious. See photo. The button fastening on the cover and pillowcases works well and looks good. The pillowcases are a generous size that will accept fat pillows if that’s what you use.We’d rather have had plain white fabric, but that’s just us. The striped cream finish is pleasant and quite stylish.We washed the set before use but didn’t try and iron it. Not everyone will appreciate the resulting slightly crumpled look, the sort of appearance you’d expect of linen, but for us it adds character and interest. Of course, it can be ironed if required. There was slight shrinkage during the 30-degree wash and tumble-dry.You don’t get a bottom sheet, so will have to source a suitable one separately, if you don’t have one - probably not very easy. That's despite the misleading “complete duvet cover set” in the description. What a shame – a plain fitted sheet in the same fabric would have been welcome. Still, we’re pleased to have the three pieces. They offer good value.

It comes nicely packaged and straight away you can tell it’s proper 100% cotton, not a poly-cotton blend pretending to be something it’s not.The fabric feels soft but still has that slightly crisp cotton feel that I personally like. It’s breathable and lightweight without feeling thin or flimsy. After washing, it softened up nicely and kept its shape with no shrinkage or colour fading. It’s easy care too — I didn’t bother ironing and it still looks perfectly fine on the bed.Design-wise, just worth noting that the pinstripes are more visible and pronounced in real life than they appear in the listing photos. They’re not subtle-close-up stripes; they’re definitely noticeable. That said, I still really like the look. The brown and cream combination feels warm and neutral, and the reversible design is a nice touch if you want to switch things up.The wooden-style button closure adds a bit of character. I actually prefer buttons to zips as they feel more durable long term. I have a gripe with this duvet (not the pillows-just the duvet)-why buttons? Okay, they look smart and give the impression of being classy, but in practical terms they waste time. It’s not as if anyone is going to stand at the bottom of your bed and say “Oh, I love the buttons”. Velcro or pop studs are so much easier and quicker to fasten.Although the set is lightweight it feels substantial and is comfortable. It’s very soft and adds snuggliness to any duvet. The listing says the design is inspired by C16th Chambray. I don’t know how. Chambray originated from fabric that had a coloured warp and a white weft. This is striped and very handily, reversible.Regardless of the fabric bedding is made from I’m always concerned, as I spend so much time in direct contact with it, just how safe it is. This Lilense bedding is certified by Oeko Tex Standard 100 as being 100% cotton and free from harmful chemicals. That’s good enough for me!This is a well designed and beautifully made duvet set-and very good value for money.

When it comes to bedding, we do like to stick with natural fibres and as the LILENSE Duvet Cover Set is made from 100% Cotton we were happy to give it a go.First impressions were very good, the set was well packaged and when opened you are met with what feels like a great quality set. We’re big fans of buttons over poppers, and these buttons are huge stay fastened without issue. I was initially unsure about the button closure on the pillow cases, but we’ve found them to be better than the usual deep pocketed type. The set has been cool and comfortable to sleep under, which you’d expect from natural fibres.At under £40 for a good quality cotton set, I think it’s decent value for money. The quality of the stitching being very good with no loose threads or defects. Overall, if you like the pinstripe design and prefer natural fibres, this is a solid option.

It’s actually real cotton and not something synthetic! It was easy to put on the duvet cover and cases even over thick memory foam pillows. The buttons do up easily and securely. I do like the colour too as it’s a muted pattern. I couldn’t be bothered to iron it before putting it on the bed as I was only going to take a photo for this review. It softens a bit after washing as well but it’s comfortable enough. A good weight that is ideal for that spring/autumn time when you don’t want something too light or heavy. I imagine I’ll get quite a few years out of this too as it doesn’t feel cheap.

I only buy 100% cotton bedding because it is so much more breathable than polyester or poly-cotton blended and gets softer over time with washing. This double duvet set is for my teenage daughter's bed and she loves it. She's just got into more 'mature' looking decor for her room and this set fits in perfectly with her boho vibe. The wrinkly cotton texture looks sort of shabby chic and feels comfy to lay on, plus there is no ironing required so it is low maintenance (good for my teen daughter who never irons anything). The buff cream colour with the grey stripe looks like linen, and it is modern and stylish. The buttons are farily easy to close and they make a nice feature contrast with the duvet.The pillow cases have wooden buttons on them as well that go up the side which looks good but isn't necessarily comfortable for sleeping. If the buttons bother you (they may not) I recommend using the pillow cases on pillows that you don't actually sleep on - just keeping them as the decorative top pillow. This is what my daughter does, she has flat pillows that she likes for sleeping, and these cases are for the spares she leans against propped up in bed (usually on her phone!). The cases are big enough for really fluffy pillows.

Ordered this for our guest bedroom to fit a double duvet. I wanted a set that was 100% cotton and not a poly-mix. This item fitted that bill and arrived well packed in a thick plastic sleeve with Duvet cover and 2x pillowcases. Once unpacked, it had a quick wash following the instructions on the label, dried and ready to put on the bed.The first thing i noticed about this set was the quality of the material and feel- has a thick, luxurious feel to it. Fitting was easy, although personally was not overly fussed on the visible buttons to secure the opening- much prefer hidden poppers, but that's my personal preference. My son used the bed this week to stay overnight for work and said it was amazing.. comfortable, thick, warm and felt like "premium hotel quality".Price point is a little high, however the quality is excellent, so I don't mind paying a bit extra in that respect. I am more than impressed with this product and will look for addition colours/sizes in the range from this maker. Highly recommend, great quality set- looks great on any bed.

This double duvet cover set is really nice, it’s a comfortable and really nice looking set which is easy to put on and take off and hasn’t faded after its first couple of washes at least.The stripe design looks fantastic and has a premium finish to it. What’s great is the pillow cases aren’t too loose and fits well and it’s not a strong standout in your face look but this in my opinion makes it look really great.It has a super premium packaging element to it too so it gives a fantastic first impression and that impression gets better and better. Overall top marks and can certainly recommend.

This is a gorgeous looking duvet set. I ordered it for my teenage daughter and she loves it, especially the button detail to the pillowcases and the reversible feature, allowing the duvet to be used either side for a different look.The duvet set is fantastic quality and I really love that it's made from soft cotton as opposed to microfiber or polyester - I'm really not a fan of those fabrics on bedding. This one however feels lovely, and the fabric has a nice thickness to it and fits a double duvet perfectly.The pillowcases are a good, generous size and I can actually get a nice plump pillow inside easily without struggling to stuff it in, lol. The button detail is both a useful and decorative feature, preventing the pillow from escape, whilst adding a bit of decorative style. The same buttons are also used as a closure for the duvet cover, which I much prefer over a regular zip.It washes great and I've had no issues popping it in the dryer.It's a fabulous duvet set that for me, ticks all the rights boxes. I'm happy to recommend :)

It is also reversible, one side cream with a brown stripe, the other brown with a cream stripe. Both sides are nice but I prefer the brown side. It is not a dark brown, more of a taupe colour.The cover fits the double duvet perfectly and is easy to put on. It washes beautifully with no shrinkage.Given the quality this is excellent value for money.
